Mike O’Keeffe joined AFC West End at the tail end of the 2009/10 season whilst AFC were struggling to maintain a regular squad. His debut saw him begin the match in goal, as his late teammates arrived in stages. Despite being a capable goalkeeper he was used for the rest of the season outfield. He capped his run in the side with a well taken goal in the final game against North Scarle, one which gained numerous votes in the end of season Goal of the Season award poll.
18 months on and he has become a regular for the side plying his trade on either flank exploiting his main advantage over 99% of full backs, his electric pace. Mike began 2010/11 in good goal scoring form, but after scoring three goals in the opening three games of the season he only found the net twice in the remainder of the campaign. Mike will be looking to continue his progress in 2011/12, whilst also assisting with team management.
Debut – 07/09/2008 vs GE Millers Arms Res

Rob Davies joined West End properly at the beginning of the 2010/11 season after training and making cameos during the previous two campaigns.
For West End Rob has primarily been used as a winger and occasionally as a full back, more recently though he has looked to evolve his game and take a more prominent role in the centre of midfield.
Rob is a talented footballer, often unplayable in five a side and small sided training. He will be looking to take this on and attain a similar level of performance regularly for West End in 2011/12. One more appearance for Rob will see him enter the all-time top twenty appearance makers outright.

Rich Vickers joined the club for the 2009/2010 season and instantly staked his claim for a place at the heart of midfield. Despite being a previous Stonebow ‘Athletic’ player he is now one of the first names down on the team sheet and his neat passing and eye for goal will serve AFC West End well as they push for promotion this season.
