AFC West End’s pre-season preperations were brought to a disappointing end with a 4-0 home defeat to Horse & Jockey. The Beers, missing a number of regulars, never really asserted themselves on this game and were soundly beaten by the new Division Six side. The only plus point was a bumper home crowd, swelled by the recent ground developments on West Common 3; a set of Asda Camping chairs.
